I'm New At This...

...so bear with me. I've never really been able to get into blogging, but decided that I should at least give it another try. I'm not one to purposefully share thoughts and ideas without being asked, so this is my attempt at breaking out of my comfort zone and venturing into the realm of blogging. 

I suppose I should say a bit about myself, before I get to the actual blogging. So here's some random things about me:

* I'm the oldest of 5 kids-I have 2 biological sibs and 2 adopted sibs. They're pretty much my best friends.

* I'm currently a freshman at Mizzou. Go Tigers....I'm not gonna lie, I'm really not one for school spirit. 

* My high school graduating class consisted of 8 people, including myself. We were pretty much as dysfunctional as you get, but we all survived, so that's what counts. :)

* Although I'm an English major, I have no idea what I want to do with it. 

* I really cannot live without my music. I like pretty much any genre, with the exceptions of Country and Death Metal (aka Screamo, which really can't be considered a genre of music anyways.). 

* Random Quirks: I love to hang things from my ceiling. I collect scarves. I secretly aspire to be a hippie. If you want to be my friend, give me a Grande Extra Hot Vanilla Latte from Starbucks. I'll love you forever. I love Musicals. I am in no way sporty/sports-oriented. I have 9 hoodies. 

What do I hope to get out of this blogging experience? Well, I'm really just doing this to get out of my comfort zone. You, my friend, are along for the ride. :)
